The Victorian Conference returned to Elmore for the annual Easter “Big Camp” This year, the theme for Big Camp was “Love: More than a word.” The Youth division looked at the theme “Love more” with guest speaker Pastor Jonathan Osorio.
Youth band leader Ryan had this to say in reflection: “Being able to be a part of the Youth Tent this year was an amazing experience. The messages from Pr Oso continue to inspire me to seek out ways to Love More in my daily life. In particular, he said “God doesn’t look for perfection, but with him a connection”, which has really inspired me to connect with God daily, even if I can’t bring a “perfect” offering to him.”
In addition to the 18+ Youth space, Big Camp also featured programs for High Schoolers, and Juniors. The theme for the High Schoolers was “Surrounded” and focused on God being present at all times.
The Junior division theme was “Level up” and featured a retro gaming décor. With the take away message being that with God, life is better.
We had an amazing time at Big Camp in 2025. Thank you so much to all of our volunteers and organisers who made everything happen!
