Over September 15–17, many of our Victorian ministers and their families spent the weekend at Camp Howqua to connect, be refreshed, and take some time away from their regular work.
On the Sabbath afternoon, the teens had the chance to go on a 4WD-ing adventure in the Howqua hills. Phil Hyland shares, “We had magnificent views of Mount Buller from the track. And the afternoon tea and picnic at the slate mine was also a real highlight.”
Justin Bone, Ministerial Secretary for Victoria, shares that “Family camp is a chance for a pastor’s kids to connect with their peer group over the challenges and joys they get in being a pastor’s kid. Family camp is about prioritising whole families as a part of the ministry.”
The 4WD-ing trip was organised by Piroska Vranyakne Feith, Associate Ministerial Secretary, and Phil Hyland, Youth Director.
